So I came across this website called WorkAway.

It basically connects you with families and small business owners who are willing to let you stay with them in exchange for working a few hours a day for them.
Some of the listings were so cool: working on a horse farm in Portugal, helping out at a B&B on the coast of Spain, picking figs and olives in France, building stone walls in Ireland, stomping grapes at a vineyard in Italy, working for a blacksmith making swords in England.
MAKING SWORDS IN ENGLAND?!?! I'm never gonna be satisfied with normal life after this trip.
Not only will these jobs deepen my experiences overseas, but it will really give me a chance to learn about different cultures and families. I will get more opportunities to learn about the towns and surrounding areas. AND I will get ALOT of good cooking. Mmmmmmm...food.
I think it's a good way to extend my stay there, learn some interesting talents, and also meet some great people.

I have been living here for almost 6 years now and never heard of somewhere making swords yet, very interesting!!
